Lack of Fit and Bias in Medicine

FemInEM, a group of women docs in emergency medicine, does one of my favorite podcasts and hosts an annual conference called FIX (FemInEM Idea Exchange). I have been trying to go for two years but honestly it was easier to get tickets to Hamilton. Some day, some day....

This talk by Dr Nick Gorton on bias in medicine, given at the 2018 FIX conference, is one of the best I have heard: you can watch the video or listen to the podcast.

I hope someday I can meet Dr Gorton and thank him for adding "Schweitzer Zone" to my vocabulary.

Bonus points if you recognize the Hamilton reference.
